Referral Post 010 – An amalgam of money-making ideas

September 25th, 2007 | Posted in business opportunity, gibline
I’ve just heard about a new amalgam of ideas that has the potential for a good income opportunity. Some of you may remember an online programme that was called YMMSS and was around a while back. It was fairly successful but eventually ran out of steam and closed down. It seems that whilst the basic premise was sound the execution eventually failed.

This new opportunity, gibline takes the good parts of YMMSS and combines it with the latest web 2.0 technology to create both a social and business networking environment and a way to earn a good revenue stream.

I’m impressed with the gibline website as it is very well designed and easy to navigate. If you choose to join you can become a reseller of many web related items such as web hosting, domain names, email solutions and shopping carts etc. It still surprises me that whilst a lot of people and businesses have ready access to the internet there are still vast numbers of each that have yet to take on the technology so there is still plenty of opportunity out there.

Along with the reseller side there is opportunity to market and resale your own business offering together with a simple matrix system that has the potential for good earnings. If you join at the Pro level ($150 every quarter) you have an instant advantage as you ‘own’ what are called pods (3 for your money). As they advance through the system you can move through the various levels of remuneration and the system will help you by adding additional pods at various stages.

There is also a Standard membership available for $50 a quarter and as you might imagine this requires slightly more work on your behalf as you would need to sponsor 2 others before you can take advantage of the income opportunity available at the Pro level.

The gibline website is currently in pre-release so now would be a good time to explore what is on offer. As I’ve mentioned this is a well produced site and looks to have a lot of potential.

Small outlay, High Returns…

September 13th, 2007 | Posted in global pension plan, imperia invest, passive, pension
Heading off shortly for a week in Tenerife so I thought I’d do a quick post as a follow-up to yesterday’s. If you are new to this blog or to the world of online investing you may be in interested in Global Pension Plan (GPP) and Imperia Invest.

As with HCI25 the number of members for Global Pension Plan has nearly reached the final number required. GPP is another Reverse Pension Plan that requires 100,000 members to initiate the payment plan. After a slow start the momentum built to the extent that there are few places left so if you have been hesitating or are new to this investment then I’d advise you to check it out quickly if you want to profit. The cost to join is €30 (thirty euros) and for this you will receive €55,000 if you are between 28 and 67 years of age. If you are lucky enough to be below 27 years of age then the payout doubles to €110,000.

Imperia Invest is somewhat different as they trade what are known as Traded Endowment Policies (TEP). When you pay the $50 joining fee the company will deposit into your account $80,000 after a few weeks. This will then increase at the rate of 1.2% per day until the plan completes. After all plans are signed up there will be a six month period before payments of $134,000 will be made for each plan held. As an investor you can purchase up to 10 plans at $50 each.

So, just a quick post to bring your attention to Global Pension Plan and Imperia Invest as I believe they are worth having in your portfolio. I’m not taking the laptop on holiday so will be back in just over a week or so!

Referral Post 009…HCI25

September 12th, 2007 | Posted in hci25, passive, pension
It’s been a while since I’ve made a referral post so I thought it was about time I rectified that. This time there is something of a time-sensitive nature about this as the programme I am putting forward today is another Reverse Pension Plan (RPP).

This time I’m suggesting you consider HCI25 as it is quickly reaching the maximum number of sign-ups needed. For this particular programme the advisers have stated that a maximum of 27,000 policies will be issued. Unlike other RPP opportunities HCI25 allows investors to purchase a maximum of 3 policies per member. So, if everyone who applied purchased 3 then the maximum number of members would be 9,000.

In practice it appears that not everyone is funding 3 policies so the total number of members will be greater than 9,000. Now this is important because the signs are there that membership is filling up quickly so you will need to act quickly if you wish to take part.

The cost of each policy is $45 (so maximum of $135 if 3 policies purchased). For each $45 you will receive $78,000 in return. The anticipation is that the funds will be released some 6 to 8 weeks after the 27,000 beneficiary places have been filled. I should mention that this opportunity is not available to citizens of Switzerland, Germany or Italy.

The other way in which HCI25 can benefit you is with referral payments. So, for each referral you introduce you will receive $3,500, so again well worth following up on.

Like other RPP plans there is an age limit for people to be eligible to receive payouts. For HCI25 this is 70 years of age, so if we assume that it takes another six months to finalise everything you should not be older than sixty nine and a half at the moment.

It has taken me some time to decide to take part in this programme as whilst I have publicised other RPP’s in the past I didn’t want to expose myself too much in one area. My mind changed when I read a recommendation from someone whose advice I value and who made a strong recommendation for HCI25.

If you wish to sign up under my referral I will share 40% of the referral payment with you as an incentive. To receive this please enter fieldsofgold as the reference/referral on the sign-up form. As I mentioned this one seems to be gaining momentum so please take the time to study all the information on the site and if it appeals to you then I’d recommend signing up sooner rather than later.

$4000 worth of prizes to be won…

September 10th, 2007 | Posted in competitions
David Airey is obviously a popular guy. He’s celebrating the 1st anniversary of his blog by running a $4,000 prize draw where he has managed to persuade a lot of talented people to offer prizes. David is a graphic designer who hails originally from Northern Ireland but is now based in Edinburgh. He is obviously keen to mark the anniversary of his blog, hence the competition.

When I started to read the post about the Gold award I was very impressed with what is on offer. Apart from David designing a custom logo for your business there is also the chance to have a custom WordPress theme design from Nate Whitehill, personal marketing plan from Maki of DoshDosh, one years hosting and blog setup from John Boardley and a signed copy of Blogging Tips by Lorelle Van Fossen. Not too shabby at all I’d suggest.

But that was only the Gold award. There are Silver and Bronze ones as well. Silver gets you a logo design from Tara Roskell, a website critique by Randa Clay, an hours SEO consultation with Lyndon Antcliff and $60 of Amazon book vouchers donated by Darren Rowse.

The Bronze award is no less desirable with a logo design by Jonathan-C Phillips, a one-hour blog optimisation consultation with Daniel Scocco, a WordPress theme package from Brian Gardner and a blog review and email interview with Phil Gerbyshak.

But wait…there’s more…muchos bonus prizes like…

Fraser’s Affiliate Marketing Blog is donating a podcasting kit…
Gayla McCord is stumping up $25 via Paypal…
Jamie Clague of Edinburgh Computer Services is providing a 2Gb USB (3 to be won)…
Books and Art from David Hyde, Brad Van Auken and Ed Roach
and finally…Andy Beard is offering lifetime membership of his new paid membership site that is to be launched soon.

So, there you have it a cornucopia of prizes that gives anyone who takes part a good chance of winning something. How do you get to win…easy just write a post about the competition on your blog and tell David about it before the 26 September so he can check it out…then wait for the results to be announced on 01 October.

I’m very impressed by the support that David has for this competition so if you have a blog please take a few moments to pen a post and spread the word.

Anyone have $15M to spare?…

September 7th, 2007 | Posted in property
Anyone have a spare US$15,000,000 I can have? Only I’ve found this great house in Oahu that would suit me down to the ground. The ocean views do it for me and I could see myself and the good lady stretched out on the patio enjoying a long cool cocktail of an evening…aaaahhhh!

I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii as it creates vivid pictures of an idyllic lifestyle. In a spare moment I was searching the web and had a look to see what sort of real estate would be available. That’s when I came across the American Dream Realty website.

If you are American they even provide property guides that give you access to a network of realty agents across the country. So if you want the reassurance of using real estate professionals you have a one-stop shop to help you with all the hard work.

Back to Hawaii for a moment and I was pleased to see that there is a blog providing up-to-date information about the local market and other news that might be of interest.

I guess for now I will just print off a picture of  the house on Oahu and stare longingly every morning as I sign-in for another day on the j-o-b!

One to watch on the BBC…

September 6th, 2007 | Posted in bbc, working lunch
Having recently returned from the USA where I was working on a project for two months I find myself with a few days to spare whilst I wait for next assignment. This means that I can work at home.

This also means that I can spend my lunch break watching the BBC’s Working Lunch programme. For those not familiar with it I see it as a television programme aimed at small business owners and individuals who want to learn more about business and investing in general. There’s no heavy market analysis and the main presenter, Adam Shaw, is happy to be the butt of humorous situations so there is a light-hearted feel to the show.

Today there was a good explanation of the current banking problems where UK banks are increasingly reluctant to lend money to each other and the LIBOR rate (the interest rate at which banks lend money to each other) has now risen to 6.8%, significantly higher that the Bank of England base rate. As Working Lunch pointed out it is likely that future mortgage applicants may well feel the sting of the higher LIBOR rate as they try to obtain funds.

The one topic that the Working Lunch team didn’t really pursue was why the banks find themselves in this position in the first place. Whilst the US sub-prime situation was given as an overall reason there was no explanation as to how the UK banks are specifically impacted. To me it seems that they are exposed but no-one is admitting in what way exactly. The other announcement today that the Bank of England is providing £4.4 billion to ease liquidity for overnight trading is another pointer for me that there is still much to unfold about this current situation.

If you are in the UK and you miss the Working Lunch broadcast you can see it via the internet using the BBC broadband player. If you are outside of the UK there is a way to watch the recorded programmes. The site FAQ page gives details. I do recommend watching the show if you can. Note that on Friday it is one hour long as it includes a specific topic where viewers submit questions that are answered by knowledgeable experts.

Diamond Cash Club update…

September 3rd, 2007 | Posted in diamonds, gems
It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned Diamond Cash Club and as there has been a recent change this seems an opportune moment. Version 2 of the programme has now been upgraded to version 3. Previously you could spend $220 and eventually receive $8,000 and a diamond worth $6,000, the new programme now gives you the option to forgo the diamond and receive a sum of $14,000 instead.

I’m now part-way through the Sapphire matrix and once I cycle through that I will be placed in the Diamond matrix and well on the way to the $8,000 and $6,000 diamond. I have done very little promotion on my own behalf so all of my progress has been down to the DCC Team that I am a member of. If you join the club you will be able to get help in finding your two necessary referrals which I’ve found very useful.

Also, when you pay your $220 you receive a gemstone voucher that is worth $300 that can be redeemed at the Global Gems Direct website. Note that you will need to pay separately for shipping.

If the thought of spending $220 is too much of a stretch for you then you can take part in a feeder programme at the DCC Team website for $45 or pay just $8 to join the DCC Team feeder programme. Obviously the quickest route is to pay the full $220 but the team does try to cycle all elements as quickly as possible so don’t think that it’s impossible to make a good profit even with a start of $8 or $45.

True Undiscovered Gems of the Internet…

September 1st, 2007 | Posted in Uncategorized
A somewhat off topic post for this one but I was intrigued by a recent link that appeared in an email article that I receive. The link reveals the PC Mag Top 100 Undiscovered Websites. Yes, another list but this one does have some very good sites that you may not have come across before.

Looking through the list there were only 5 or 6 that I’d seen before so there was plenty for me to go at. I’ll feature a couple here that I found interesting. Have a look yourself and come back to leave a comment about what sparks your interest.

For me the one I liked most was Lumosity, it’s a site where you can test yourself on certain skill based tasks and the more you do the better your brain will function (at least that’s the theory). I’m not a great player of online games but this is different as the tasks are based on cognitive studies, hence are based on a lot of meaningful research. You are able to use the site for free for the first 14 days but after that you can pay monthly ($9..95)or get a discount by paying for 12 months in advance (equivalent to $6.60 per month). Lumosity is definitely one of those sites where you will visit often (probably daily) as you test yourself and of course you can always invite your friends and family to see how they do.

The site is also interesting because it provides additional information about the science behind everything. There is definitely room for both physical and mental exercise in our lives, Lumosity is a great way to provide the brain part.

The other site id Bullpoo and whilst this may not jump out at you the site is dedicated to investing. Here you can showcase your expertise in the world of stock trading. You have several areas that are available to you if you sign up for free (you’ll definitely need 20/20 vision for the T&C’s).

As a member you have a $1M to trade with in the virtual environment of Bullpoo. Clearly if you are a competitive person you’ll find yourself pitching your skills against others who think that they can predict how their portfolio can be maximised. You can contribute your views by way of a blog and make predictions as to where you see stocks and the markets going using the forecast feature.
