Global Pension Plan – others can help to pinpoint if this finally is a scam…
Not unsurprisingly the recent update from Global Pension Plan has seen folks on both sides of the debate rush to put their view forward.
In a nutshell members are being asked to send €20 for a contribution to the cost of sending your final cheques via courier. They say that they have been unsuccessful in finding an online banking solution and a cheque is the only viable option.
What they don’t provide is a deadline for these payments and this is where it’s thought that others could lead. So, if you will have problems funding either Liberty Reserve or Perfect Money with the fee then by waiting to see what happens with those who do forward the fee you may be doing yourself a favour.
Personally getting money into LR is becoming ever more convoluted and frustrating so I’m going to sit on the sidelines and see what happens.
If it is genuine then clearly funding LR will be worth it. If not I haven’t gone to a lot of trouble and been conned again so something of a win-win scenario (if such a thing ever exists!).
I know one person who has already sent the fee so I will be keeping a close eye on what happens.
Don’t be panicked into sending off money as the update still raises other questions even if the intent is genuine.
Having a large value cheque dropping on your doormat may still prompt further questions and investigations from your chosen bank manager and these could take some time to resolve so please don’t get the bubbly out just yet.

If it’s not in the back office then it’s just a bogus mail.
Hackers may have gotten into the site as before.
I would not do anything except wait.
A few people are paying for the checks. They will let us know if they actually receive them. Then the rest of us can pay for ours too.
This is the ONLY way to fly to avoid getting stolen from yet AGAIN!!
Very true, liberty reserve is a hassle. I was a little worried when they didn’t have a deadline.
Please keep us updated with the person whom made the payment.
Thanks,
Selby
I got this message be very careful with the payment!
Many of you who are GPP members will have received an e-mail purporting to be from Global Pension Plan (GPP), but may well not be.
A colleague of mine has summarised the situation in an e-mail she sent me. I agree with her – looks like the GPP database may have been hacked, although the Liberty Reserve C-Gold accounts they say to send to are apparently those that have been used by GPP before – or so I am told. Also see the warning right at the bottom of this page!
An email has been received from what appears to be GPP admin. They are asking everyone to send them money to pay for courier service for sending our payments by CHECK.
I have been waiting to hear from my major GPP contacts, but since it has been over 24 hours since the email came out and I haven’t heard anything yet, I want to send out this warning:
DO NOT PAY THIS FEE!!
The email instructs payment directly to the payment processors and although the accounts they give to use apparently ARE GPP’s accounts, this just doesn’t sound right.
-Number one, no bank would accept a check for the amounts some people are supposed to be paid, so I think paying us by check is totally bogus.
-Number two, if they really do need to send us a check, they could easily deduct the funds from the amount of the check. I’d happily have that deducted to get the amount they are supposed to send me! Heck, I’d be happy to pay the entire membership’s courier fees out of MY payment, I’d still have plenty left over… (no joke and another sign that this is a ridiculous request).
-Number three, this update was NOT posted in the members forum/message board of the site. That was the first thing I checked and they always post info there before they send out emails. Because their emails always take WEEKS to circulate thru to all the members.
-Number four, the site has now been basically stripped down to just one message “Program is closing”. No profile is available, message board is gone, referrals and contracts are gone. Not even the BUY additional policies page is there now. This happened AFTER the emails were received.
Maybe I am wrong, but until I hear from my contacts, consider this a spam/scam email and DO NOT SEND MONEY TO GPP! If it turns out to be legit, we have time and we can also renegotiate that they just take the funds out of our paychecks.
I will add a copy of the email below and even though the accounts do match GPPs accounts, I am x’ing them out.
There are only 2 possibilities here: one is that I am wrong and this is really the way they have chosen to proceed. Or two, the site, the database and the currency accounts have been hacked.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND FUNDS TO GPP at least until we learn more. The email below just reeks of scam.
I will send more info should I learn more about this or anything to the contrary. I still have hope GPP is real, but it is dwindling fast and this email doesn’t help.

Dear GPP Members,
We are clad to finally announce, that after going through pretty tough times here behind the curtains, our precious project is back on track and we are progressing towards the payout!
We will close the member area for any further sign ups, Additional Policy purchases and profile modifications any day soon. Even if the target of 250.000 sold Additional Policies wasn’t reached yet, we have decided to move forward and not to let it delay the program any further.
As you might imagine, we still have Additional Policias available. If you want one now, please login into your Member area and make the purchase there.
Another warning:
Another colleague of mine sent this and not the warning about NOT logging on ( a bit late for me – I already logged on!
After having read the recent update again and consulting with other GPP members, I have come to the conclusion that the recent GPP update is not authentic and advise all not to send in any funds unless advised by GPP directly. Better safe than sorry.
This last GPP update is not considered to be from GPP management because there are too many red flags. So please forward to all of your downline not to send in any funds to the LR or C-Gold accounts noted in this most recent update. If you did not receive the recent update then don’t worry. Wait until you are contacted by GPP or that GPP will update their posting in your GPP back office forum..
Do not try to login to the present GPP website where is states “Program Closing” as it may affect your personal information being altered by some hacker.
GPP website is back, it works as before, may have to connect its back-office
Are we all becoming rather tied of all the Investment opportunities that ulitmately succeed in sucking in everyones hard earned cash!!!!
MY question is this. If GPP had any credibility,it would have challenged the alledged “Fake” e-mail immediately!!I now see that the Web-site has now re-opened,and of course no up-date is available on the site.
Due to the absence of meaningful communication,to either confirm,or dis-credit the latest e-mail ,I now am 100% convinced GPP is a 5 year scam!!!
TO add more insult, the site has been re-opened to possibly take in further money.
If I am wrong, and the e-mail is in fact genuine, payout will surely be a miracle, and a welcome surprise to the thousands world-wide who trusted this reverse pension opportunity.
Hey, I was just reading your article and I put into this 2 years ago and still haven’t seen or hurd
Anything on what is going on with gpp. I am leaning toward a scam since its been aslong as it has.
Anyone else think the same?
This is not the first time that emails were sent out purporting to be from GPP. There is no update on the
website saying anything about needing money to send us a payment.
I will not send money to anyone based on an email.
From the info I got from my upline, the mail is legit. Some of those who sent their money as soon as they got the mail have received a package from GPP with instructions on how to get the payout.
Hope this helps.
I send my 20euro on the 11th and yet to receive any. 15 days passed and still waiting.
I’ll keep you posted. I had 20euro lying around. So I gave it a shot.
-I sent it June 23, 2010.
Nothing yet.
We’ll see…
Sincerely,
Selby
Now there is another email circulating to add more confusion. The 2nd one makes more sense than the first.
IF GPP did not send that email to cough up 20 Euros, then the hackers did. One word from GPP Admin to LR would have shut down that account in both C Gold and LR, right? Would they then ask us to send ONE payment for ONE member and not send in payments for X amount of members?
The mystery and misery deepens. Sigh
“instructions on how to get the payout” which means the package is an instruction not the cheque, kindly confirm.
I paid 20 euros to receive my check, but still nothing, I hope it’s going to happen very soon ………….. Isabelle, who received his check? you know ???
HI I think Gpp is simply too big to be for real. I also think they have packed up and are long gone. Now we simply have the vultures…
I think Imperia is a scam also….Sorry for lack of optimism on this but I see no point. I just am saddened by the cruelty but amazed by the ingenuity.
Szia!Te láttad ezt a csomagot?
Just thought a little translation would help – Hi, Have you seen this package?
From the info I got, it’s a package, not a check… can you imagine the reaction at your bank if you tried to deposit such a big check. At best, you’ll be escorted out. At worst, you’ll be escorted out by the police. And, no, I haven’t seen it.
I completly understand the reluctance to send out more money but like I always tell myself, what can I live with? Lose that 20 EUR and maybe get the payout or not lose that 20 EUR and find out that those who paid it got their payout.
You’re the only one that can answer that question for yourself.

Sorry….I sent the fee 24th of June. If that email was legit, I should be getting the package sometime this week. Some people say they have some people say they haven’t. Anyone here received anything after sending the fee? Could there be some documents in the package saying that we are not to talk about this after receiving the package?
Where did that email address come from? This is the only one that I have:
support@globalpensionplan.net
and it seems to not be accepting any emails. They are only sending from it.
Also got this one:

I also hope I sent my $ 29, which brings us to the destination. I am convinced that if the GPP is real. But let us make a Esperito. Greetings.
Okay, there is far too much speculation flying around at the moment. It is very clear that the so called packages or debit cards are fake. Can everyone please take a breath and see whether we get a genuine response from GPP. It’s sad that this had to happen and I’m sure many people are even worse off than before. All I can recommend is that you don’t spend one more cent until there is genuine evidence that can be verified. Please, no more comments on this topic as it is emotionally draining and not very productive for us all.
No hablo inglés, cuál el número de cuenta que tenemos que consignar para obtener la tarjeta.? Los que ya consignaron recibieron el paquete?
Hi Nicole,
None received any so far. Only rummors. I funded mine 7 weeks ago and still waiting
Any news about GPP? Anyone! 9 weeks passed still nothing.
GPP is a scam. Robert Moore and others have been soliciting members in the GPP scam. Please do not send them anymore money. I have been a member since 2008, but have not been paid yet. Mr. Moore is asking for more monies. What a Joke. Keep you hard working money to your self. I am going to report them to the Feds.
