Buy the Malaysian Flag (Membeli bendera Malaysia)…

November 9th, 2009 | Posted in affordable affiliates

I have a large (90×60 inches) flag for sale…or rather Affordable Affiliates has it for sale as part of my inventory. Yes, at long last Affordable Affiliates are finally getting to the stage where members are seeing real inventory in their accounts.

I’ve preached many times that patience is the number one virtue when it comes to investing online and Affordable Affiliates is a classic example of this. For several months they have been trying to get their systems and processes aligned so that when a member makes a deposit they can see very soon what their investment is going towards and the potential return they will make.

I do have some sympathy for them as they have struggled to get to where they are today. There is still more to do but at least they have proved that they can now allocate real inventory to a member account. The next hurdle is for them to sell inventory so that members can experience a real return.

If you are unfamiliar with Affordable Affiliates then let me give a quick overview. Unlike many other online investment opportunities that keep things very close to their chest Affordable Affiliates actively seek as much publicity as possible. This is because they source a wide range of household and other items that they sell in a retail environment. They claim to be highly experienced and believe that they can turn over a huge quantity of stock on a regular basis.

Members invest to provide cashflow for purchases with the aim of sharing in the profits made on the items sold. To protect your funds they will never be allocated to just a small number of products so in effect spreading your risk across a range of different products.

As I mentioned it has taken some time to get to the point where all of the back office work can be automated but it now looks as though it is now possible.

One of the advantages with Affordable Affiliates is that you can track exactly what inventory you have been allocated and what the potential returns are. I’m looking forward to further improvements but feel that the company has done well given all of the challenges it has faced.

PS That lovely Malaysian flag is still available

Affordable Affiliates fail to deliver…

July 5th, 2009 | Posted in affordable affiliates, passive
It’s very disappointing to note that Affordable Affiliates don’t seem to be delivering on their commitments. I first wrote a post about this opportunity in early May. I really believed that there was potential here as the company profess to trade real goods and hence members would be able to track their investments easily through the back office.

Towards the end of May Affordable Affiliates announced that they had sorted out some problems with their tracking software and everything was looking good for members to track sales in their account.

Unfortunately things seemed to have gone very quiet and when I checked my account today it hasn’t changed at all since my original investment. If I remember there was also a forum available where things could be discussed but I don’t see any sign of that at the moment.

Perhaps someone who is closer to this could provide more of an update. Anyone want to put their hand up?

Clearly there may be a valid reason why things haven’t progressed but the lack of updates from the ‘horse’s mouth’ as it were is unsatisfactory so if you’re being approached about this opportunity then my advice would be to hold fire and not make any investment until matters are clearer.

Affordable Affiliates seem to be a genuine opportunity…

May 11th, 2009 | Posted in affordable affiliates, alertpay
One opportunity that seems to provide a good return to its members is Affordable Affiliates. Unlike many other types of investment in this one you make money by providing funds that are used to buy and sell a range of items such as furniture.

As far as I can see this is a very viable operation and the site provides a raft of up to date information about how things work and what sort of payment regimes they offer.

They use Solid Trust Pay and AlertPay as payment processors with minimum deposits being $100. Interestingly there is a maximum deposit of $500. It seems this has been set so no-one can distort the potential earnings.

I’ve been monitoring the site for several weeks now and I’ve decided that there is definitely some potential for Affordable Affiliates.

It’s good to see an opportunity where you can see just what your money is being used for as this information is provided once your funds are allocated.

Also, Affordable Affiliates limit the amount they take from your deposit for each item so you are never exposing a high amount of your fund at any one time.

Everything I’ve seen is very promising and I’d highly recommend taking a look for yourself.
