Thirty Dollar Unit Admin has provided short update…
The much awaited update from the admin of the Thirty Dollar Unit (TDU) was posted in the member forum yesterday.
Contrary to speculation they did not ask members to provide any further information and just made a statement about upcoming payments.
It does appear that payouts will commence soon so this may be the first online investment of this type to stick to their word, let’s still keep an open mind until we see funds in our account.
If you are already a member but have not submitted details that were requested in early September then you are advised to do this immediately.
Some people may still not have joined the TDU forum and not know about the form I mention above. If that applies to you please send an email to admin_at_onlineinvestingguru.com with your contact information and I will try and help but can’t guarantee anything.

Quick updates from Imperia Invest and Thirty Dollar Unit…
Just like waiting for a bus when three come along at once the news from the world of online investing can be either feast or famine.
In the last couple of days a new update from Imperia Invest shows that things are going well and that they have committed to contacting members directly if there are problems with their documentation.
They say that members have been keen to find another payment processor to use. As a result of this they are introducing Procurrex which is a new provider to me. Looking on their site they are based in the British Virgin Islands and the Terms and Conditions seem comparable to other such companies. You can still use Liberty Reserve or Perfect Money to purchase as well.
Whilst Imperia Invest are keeping purchases open until 01 February you should bear in mind that the policy needs to be active for six months before payout. So, if you are looking to receive payment in May which is the current schedule you should invest now rather than waiting.
Another important update was issued by the Admin of Thirty Dollar Unit (TDU). In it they say that on Friday 04 December they will be posting details of what members need to do next to ensure that payments commence. The current target for payments to start is Monday 18th December. To be clear this is the planned start and it is not yet known in what sort of order payments will be made and over what time period for all payments to be completed.
The point was made that when the requirements are posted on Friday they are to be provided exactly as requested so please bear that in mind and make sure that before you send any information you follow the instructions precisely. If all goes well we should see some very happy people in 2010.

Online Investing round up…
There have been quite a few things happening in the world of online investing over the last couple of weeks so I thought I’d do a quick round up of what’s happening.
Let’s start with Global Pension Plan. After announcing in the summer that the necessary 100,000 policies had been purchased things went very quiet until a new post on their forum appeared this week. Unfortunately the update wasn’t that edifying and it now looks as though they are pushing to sell the outstanding 25,000 or so additional policies that were made available. At €10 per policy they still represent great value for existing members so hopefully it won’t be too long before they go.
Next up is Thirty Dollar Unit. Whilst this seems to be as painful as pulling teeth a new announcement on the forum gives hope. Even though some members are finding it difficult to follow instructions the admin has said that payouts will commence in the week before Christmas except for those members who still have problems.
In a recent post I mentioned that Imperia Invest had published their payment schedule and that it will still be possible to invest up until February 2010. Again, the $50 investment for each TEP has the potential to provide significant rewards and is well worth investigating.
Two recent programmes that I’ve posted about, Gold Nugget Invest and PTV Partner, have started to upgrade both hosting and websites. Both of these programmes have impressed me with their professional approach and it’s looking good for the future.
The ever oblique HCI25 are hosting the first of several meet and greets with users who have qualified by referring more than 12 investors to the Reverse Pension Plan. The get together is in New York and all of us who haven’t qualified are eagerly waiting for some news that will put some meat on the bones of how well managed the company is. With less than 400 RPP contracts left (again a great opportunity to invest right now) there should be some good news coming shortly…let’s keep the faith for now.
Okay, so that sums things up for now!

Thirty Dollar Unit indicate progress being made…
In the rather patchy world of Thirty Dollar Unit communication there has been a very recent update from the admin to say that progress is being made and work ongoing in validating all of the email submissions received to date. Still no indication of when payouts will commence though.
If you’ve invested in Thirty Dollar Unit and not been able to access the forum, which I know has happened, then you should be aware of what is needed.
As I stated in a previous post I’m not going to publish precise details here and would advise you to contact the person who referred you to Thirty Dollar Unit for more details.
If that is not possible then I’d suggest you try to register at the Thirty Dollar Unit forum again. They now have 2 moderators appointed so if you weren’t able to join before you may be able to now.
Thirty Dollar Unit (TDU) publish payment details…
I’ll admit that often I was doubtful whether we would ever get this far but as I’ve said many times patience is a major part of online investing.
I’m not going to post the precise details in this post as that may expose the programme to some risk. So, if you invested in Thirty Dollar Unit and you want to get paid then you will need to head over to the TDU forum.
If you haven’t already registered there then you might encounter a problem so I’d advise you to get back to your sponsor to see if they have the necessary details.
Now, of course, we haven’t seen any funds in our accounts as yet so we are still not in a position to say that TDU is a success but at least we are a step nearer.
One last note, please be careful when filling out the details as no questions can be asked and only one submission per member will be allowed.
Let’s hope this is one that actually does pay out.

Thirty Dollar Unit forum implodes…
Recently I had an email from a reader who said “I found your comments neither too much hope/fantasy nor too angry/sceptical. You appear to want to know the facts and leave the emotions out of it. This I prefer also!”
He was talking about posts I’d made on Thirty Dollar Unit so I’m reaching one person at least.
Recently the Thirty Dollar Unit forum has become a place for vitriol and home for vicious accusations. I’m not going to sink to the depths of some of the posters on the forum, suffice to say that a small number of members are crying foul and pronouncing the end of Thirty Dollar Unit.
The question now is whether the thousands of people waiting for a valid update from the Admin should harbour any further hope. As I’ve said repeatedly in regard to any online investment very few people know the real truth about any opportunity but that doesn’t stop people speculating and this appears to be what is happening at Thirty Dollar Unit.
Unfortunately the bickering has got totally out of hand and it is impossible to predict what the final outcome will be.
On another forum a poster made the point that it is pointless going to the Thirty Dollar Unit forum and to just wait for an update from the Admin. My tendency is to agree with this approach and see what the eventual outcome is.
Being a glass half full kind of person I’m still cautiously optimistic but as the saying goes ‘not holding my breath’
Thirty Dollar Unit – who’d be an Admin…
I’m sure I will be lambasted for some of the things I’m going to say in this post but to be honest very little surprises me at the moment.
There are probably thousands of people who are right now waiting for some news from the Admin of Thirty Dollar Unit. It’s been quite some time since the site went down and the forum that took its place has experienced a roller coaster of emotions since it was set up. In fact it’s a classic case of initial euphoria followed by mild unease and descending into some fairly unsavoury stuff. So, why has this happened?
Personally, I believe it is like many other such online investments…lack of communication and over optimism.
The TDU admin, Jackie, is bearing the brunt of what is turning out to be some heavy scepticism around the whole operation.
Now I have no inside knowledge of TDU or any other online investment but what I do know is that if ever I invest I go in with my eyes open and in the knowledge that I could lose my money. It seems a shame that countless others don’t have this attitude either through ignorance of the online investment world or just like to cause trouble.
Will TDU pay? I can’t answer that but it certainly won’t help if I send pointless questions to Jackie and her team as this will only increase the delays. Just let them get on with things. If we get paid then that’s great, if not, just move on.
Now I know many people will say that this is a blinkered view and somewhat dismissive of other people’s situations and whilst I have sympathy for people who put their money into programmes such as TDU hoping to pay off some serious debts I have to question whether they fully understand the risks involved.
I’ve already had comments saying that I have no right to pass comment on TDU but as far as I’m aware free speech is still my right so I’ll continue to voice my opinion. I’ve also been asked to join an alternative TDU forum but again I just don’t see the point of creating an alternative.
We are all frustrated at the time it is taking to get things resolved and it is possible that they never will be to our satisfaction but I’m not going to self-flagellate in the meantime. Let Jackie and her team get on with things and see how things turn out.

Thirty Dollar Unit are activating forum memberships…
In a previous post I lamented that Thirty Dollar Unit were behind on authenticating memberships to their newly created forum. I wrote that I was still waiting to be activated and that we would need to practice some more patience.
Well, patience has paid off and today I received my formal activation for the new forum. It probably won’t surprise readers to hear that some of the delays have been caused by people submitting more than one application as they hadn’t received instant authentication on their original application.
It seems to me that a lot of people have a knee jerk reaction when it comes to online investments and expect things to happen instantly. This is just not feasible in this sort of situation. What people should realise is that an individual member is just a very small part of the total invested population. Experience does show that online investments are generally poor at communication and by repeatedly sending in questions or additional applications will only increase the workload and delay things even further.
If I was to stress one point when asked what is important about online investing it is have PATIENCE by the bucketload as otherwise you will become very frustrated.
So, if you are a member of Thirty Dollar Unit and have not been activated yet then please just wait as it will happen.
Thirty Dollar Unit struggle to make timely responses…
Originally, the admin said that they hoped to have all activation codes issued by Tuesday last. Clearly, this has not been achieved and it looks like we will have to maintain a patient outlook for a few days more.
There are people being activated and one report I saw said that they had issued activation codes for 300 members in one day. Now, whether this is a typical day or not is unclear and as ever we are left to wonder when our codes will be issued.
From what I can tell the desire to complete this programme is there but the workload they are facing seems to be far more daunting than they at first thought.
There isn’t much anyone can do as sending an email just adds to the workload and hence extend the time.
Let’s hope that activations increase and we see definite progress in the not too distant future.

Thirty Dollar Unit has new forum available…
Investors who have been wondering where the Thirty Dollar Unit website disappeared to will be pleased to hear that a new forum site has been created.
So, if you were an investor you are strongly advised to head over to the new Thirty Dollar Unit forum and sign-up. If you don’t you will be at risk of not being paid on your investment so please act quickly in this matter.
Also, as far as I can tell the member list will be used as the starting point for the next offering which has been muted once this phase pays out.
When you sign up at the forum you should note that the user name should be your First name and Surname e.g. John Smith. It’s important that you don’t make this just one name i.e. JohnSmith.
As the admin needs to confirm the names submitted it may take a little while to be given formal access to the forum so don’t worry if it doesn’t happen immediately.
Note that the forum is only open to members who have an investment in Thirty Dollar Unit as of the closing date, 13 February 09.
Hopefully, we will now see progress towards getting everyone paid.
